WPB Home Solutions ("we", "us", or "our") operates the WPB Home Solutions mobile application and the website at wpbhomesolutions.com (together, the "Service"). This page tells you what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have about it.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, including:
- Account info — name, email, phone number, and password (passwords are stored hashed by Firebase Authentication; we never see your plain-text password).
- Service info — your home address, photos you upload, and details you share about the work you need.
- Payment info — handled entirely by Stripe. We never store full card numbers on our servers. We retain only the last four digits and an opaque token for reference.
- Device info — push notification token, app version, OS version, and a device identifier so we can send you status updates.
How we use your information
- To schedule and complete the services you request.
- To process payments for one-time jobs and recurring subscriptions.
- To send you push notifications about your jobs (estimates, crew arrivals, completion, billing).
- To contact you about your account, service issues, or important updates.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, recordkeeping, fraud prevention).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share the minimum necessary data with:
- Stripe — to process payments and recurring subscriptions.
- Google Firebase — for authentication, database, storage, and push notifications.
- Expo — to deliver push notifications.
- Our service crews — your name, address, and job details so they can complete the work.
We may share information when required by law (subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property).
Data retention
We keep your account and job history for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us at the address below. Some information (e.g., paid invoices) may be retained for tax and legal compliance.
Your choices
- Push notifications — disable any time in your phone's Settings → Notifications.
- Recurring subscriptions — cancel any time in the app; service continues to the end of the current cycle and you are not billed again.
- Account deletion — open the app → Profile → Delete Account, or email us. We remove your personal data within 30 days.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you as required by law.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new effective date at the top of this page and notify you via the app for material changes.
